Update 10/2/2017 – In the fall season, the Roger Williams zoo in Providence organize from October 5 to November 5 during the evenings a carving pumpkins show . This show is unique and worth to be seen. There are more than 5 000 illuminated pumpkins displayed all around the zoo.
Lots of people are coming to this event so you need to be patient but the show worth the waiting.
The zoo opens its doors from 6 pm and pumpkins replace the animal.
This year 2017 the theme is dinosaurs, age of ice , Egyptian and roman civilizations.
Price is $15 for adults and $12 for children from 2 to 12 years old from Monday to Thursday and 18$ and 15$ on Fridays and week ends. You have to buy your ticket online only for the week ends. If your a AAA member you can have a 2$ for adults and 1$ for children on Tuesdays.
What’s new this year is the Soaring Eagle Ride to see the pumpkins from the airs. (15$ per person).
This event is a Must see if you are in Providence or not far during this time.

Spooky Zoo: On Oct. 28 and 29, 2017 from 10am to 3 pm – Activities for kids and family . Trick or Treat. Price: 14,95$ adults, 9,95$ children.
Boo at the Zoo: a night at the zoo with the family it is possible at Roger Williams Zoo. On Oct. 21th 2017 from 6:30pm to 10am you will start the night with pizza and ice cream, then you will have a animal encounter and a VIP access to the Jack O Lantern spectacular . You will sleep in he Education Center after watching a movie and eat popcorn. A breakfast will be served in the morning before a zoo tour. ♦ Price: 130$ per parent/child pair – 65$ per additional participant.
